Maggie's Centre, North Wales
A few years before her own diagnosis, Lesley donated one of Peter's paintings to the Maggie’s Swansea centre in Swansea. Reflecting Maggie’s commitment to providing free, expert support in welcoming, beautifully designed environments, Mum believed deeply in the importance of care, support and the environment at the end of life. When Maggie’s opened its new centre in North Wales, we were pleased to have the opportunity to make a similar donation, this time a little closer to home.
The new centre, Maggie’s North Wales, at the Steve Morgan Foundation Building, Glan Clwyd Hospital in Bodelwyddan supports people affected by cancer across the whole of North Wales. It is part of Maggie’s network of centres which emphasise that anyone affected by cancer, at any stage, is welcome to drop in, no appointment or referral needed.
We are grateful to be able to contribute in this way and share Mum’s values through art, in a place where the environment truly matters.
