1977 Commissioned to paint Harlech Castle for the Police College, Cwmbran. Welsh Arts Council.
1986 Artist in Residence, Cleveland Education Authority.
1987 Wales – Ireland exchange. Spent three months working in Cork.
1988 One of eleven artists commissioned by the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Department of the Environment to paint in one of the National Parks. An exhibition of the work was held in London in May 1988 and it then went on tour.
1990 Commissioned by the National Trust to produce two works for a brochure for the Rural Development Board of Wales (selected by Peter Fuller).
1991 Commissioned by the National Trust to make work in the Nant Ffrancon Valley.
1993 Commissioned by the National Museum of Wales to paint in Blaenau Ffestiniog. Work purchased by Lady Anglesey for the Contemporary Art Society for Wales.
1994 Invited artist, with Barbara Rae, at Eigse, Carlow Arts Festival, Ireland.
1994 Commissioned by Oriel Mostyn to work in the National Museum of Wales, Slate Museum, Llanberis.
1998 Commissioned by the Foundation for Arts of the National Trust to make drawings of Penrhyn Quarry, Bethesda.
1999 Invited artist at International Workshops in Northern Ireland and Wales.
